MISSOULA – Missoula County Public Schools is warning parents of a SAT/ACT prep scam that is making its rounds.

Phone calls from SAT/ACT Scholastic Achievement or College Level Exams will claim to be providing free test prep services but claim to need your credit card number in case you do not return their test prep materials.

The company will claim to be in a partnership with the school district, which the school district says is not true.

The caller will also claim that your child has already consented at school to participate in the program.

MCPS urge caution about buying anything from the company and insist that the service is not affiliated with the school district in any way.
