NEW DELHI: Two girls missing from their home in north-east Delhi's Seelampur area were found dead under mysterious circumstances at an abandoned plot at Alipur in Rohini.
Prima facie, no injuries were found on the bodies, but police have not ruled out possibilities of a murder or a suicide. A sexual assault has also not been ruled out.
The girls, aged 22 and 25, were siblings and were found at an open ground.
Police say that the girls were missing since September 19. The parents had approached the police on September 21 after which a search was launched to look for them.
The bodies were found early on Tuesday morning following which the family was called and asked to identify the girls. Family members allege that they were lured by someone who might have murdered them.
