A man who has been on the run since his estranged wife was found dead in Marshfield is in custody, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz's office said 47-year-old Allen Warner was arrested Tuesday by Whitman police. Cruz said Shana Warner, 48, called police shortly before 6 p.m. Monday and said that she was being followed in a car by her soon-to-be ex-husband. Cruz said officers responded immediately and found her in a car off the road in Marshfield with serious injuries to her face. Shana Warner was taken to South Shore Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Cruz on Tuesday urged Allen Warner to turn himself in so "no one else is hurt." He was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon. Allen Warner will be arraigned in Plymouth District Court.
