A 17-year-old girl from Haverhill, Massachusetts, died from injuries she suffered in a crash Monday night, police said.Two cars were involved in the crash at 9 p.m. near Crystal and Liberty streets in Haverhill.The teen, who was driving one of the vehicles, was later pronounced dead at a Boston-area hospital. The Essex County District Attorney's Office identified the teen as Jordan Rankin. She was a senior at Haverhill High School, where grief counselors were on hand Tuesday."Sadly, a senior girl at Haverhill High School passed away last night in a car accident. Counselors are currently on site to support students and staff in need. The high school will remain open this afternoon and counselors will be available for any community members in need of support," the school said in a statement.The crash remains under investigation.

A 17-year-old girl from Haverhill, Massachusetts, died from injuries she suffered in a crash Monday night, police said.
