Stunning twist in tutor’s murdered over alleged relationship with Muslim student

NEW DELHI: The murder of 31-year-old tutor Ankit Kumar over alleged relationship with Muslim student got a stunning twist in the case.

According to reports, Delhi Police has solved the murder case of a teacher in Jahangirpuri, on October 1 and confirmed the arrested of the shooter Aakash Kashyap, a 21 year old, final year B.Tech student.

DCP North West Delhi team cracked the case after extensive probe for three days.

The accused had gunned down the deceased teacher with a a desi pistol that he reportedly bought when he visited the place of his maternal uncle in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat Fazalpur village.

The accused hatched the murder plan because he was not happy of teacher’s affair with his girlfriend, who studied at the coaching centre and pursuing her.

On its official Twitter account, Delhi Police wrote, “With the arrest of a 21 year old, final year BTech student, Aakash Kashyap, who belongs to Bagpat in UP, @DelhiPolice Distt North West has solved the murder case of a teacher Ankit Kumar, in Jahangirpuri, on Oct 1. Aakash killed Ankit for harassing his girlfriend & pursuing her,” the Delhi Police wrote in a series of tweets

In its subsequent tweet the Delhi Police also said that the accused plan the murder after he Ankit did not give his pursuit for the accused’s girlfriend.

“The girl studied at Ankit Kumar’s coaching centre & Ankit had fallen in love with her two years ago. When Ankit didn’t abandon pursuit & blackmailed the girl, Aakash Kashyap, the accused, hatched the plot to get rid of him,” said the tweet by the Delhi Police.

The Delhi Police congratulated the teams for solving cracking the murder mystery. The tweet read, “Kudos to teams of Spl. Staff of Distt #NorthWest & PS Mahindra Park, who solved this blind shoot out murder case.The teams of ACP Shalimar Bagh & Spl Staff did exemplary investigation. Appreciate efforts of Insp Satvender Rana, SI Rakesh, ASI Harjeet & ASI Narayan.”
