Nalanda DM reviews security measures

BIHARSHARIF: Nalanda DM Thiyagarajan SM and Nalanda SP Sudhir Kumar Porika held a meeting with the members of district-level peace committee meeting to ensure peaceful celebration of Durga Puja.
“Elaborate security arrangements, including deployment of adequate number of police force with magistrates and installation of CCTV cameras at all important intersection of roads across the district have been done.Three police control rooms and a special IT cell to keep a tab on cyber crime have been also set up for the festival,” said the DM. Both the DM and the SP thanked the members of peace committee for their active role in making peaceful arrangements during Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram last month. Participants from both the communities appreciated the measures being initiated by the administration and assured that they too would ensure that committees do not violate the laid down norms.
