The CCTS countries should become partners in attracting investments, not competitors – Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2018. /Kabar/. There is a great competition for attracting investments in the world. We see it necessary for the countries of the Turkic Council to build relations as partners, and not as competitors, Pankratov stated at the 8th meeting of Ministers of Economy of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTS).

He said thst the countries of the Turkic Council need to unite efforts in promoting mutual interests and opportunities.

“In the light of the implementation of the tasks of the country leaders to further strengthen investment cooperation, one of the important and practical results will be the resolution of issues on the creation of a joint Turkic investment fund. We see how the global agenda opens up not only new prospects, but also new challenges. We see how global competition in world markets is changing the existing relations between countries. And it poses great tasks before us. Today we have a historic chance to expand our multilateral cooperation, and also to bring the CCTS to a new level of international integration,” Pankratov said.

He considers that digital technologies should play a key role in this. “Today they are designed to meet the needs of the population and business for a comfortable life. I believe that together we need to create the best conditions for the development of digital technology in the Turkic-speaking countries,” Pankratov said.
