Pumpkin patches and family-friendly thrills and chills will be available for those looking to get into the spirit of Halloween as the Leonard Gordon Park Conservancy hosts its second annual Halloween Bash this Saturday, Oct 20.
On tap will be face painters, balloon twisters, magicians, Henna tattoos, pumpkin decorating, and spooky and friendly characters roaming the park grounds. Pumpkins in the pumpkin patch are $3.
A performance will take place by Carolyn Light at the park gazebo at 12 p.m., followed by the Halloween Parade at 12:45 p.m.
The Halloween Bash will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Anyone attending is welcome to wear their Halloween costumes. Leonard Gordon Park is located at JFK Blvd and Hutton Street, Jersey City.
