Tributes have been paid to a champion Thai boxer who has died after suffering from a suspected heart attack.

Mubzz Bajwa, of Rochdale , was a Guinness World Record holder and raised thousands of pounds for charity during his career.

The 38-year-old died on Thursday, October 18, shortly after collecting an award in London.

It is understood he suffered a suspected heart attack.

Mubzz, who is originally from Rochdale, moved to Scotland and Birmingham to complete training, but he is believed to have recently returned to his hometown.

He is also hired as a stunt man for the film industry.

The dad has raised thousands of pounds for charity, having completed a three-day trek over the Brecon Beacons, a sky dive and an underwater seabed walk in order to raise cash for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
