'Dine and dash' trio accused of doing a runner on a $200 restaurant bill after going outside for a cigarette are outed by furious manager who claims it's the third time he’s been robbed this week

  • Hog's Breath Cafe customers racked up a $200 before allegedly skipping the bill
  • Cafe owner says October 15 incident was one of three incidents within a week
  • The WA eatery posted CCTV images on social media and have contacted police

An angry restaurant owner has called for the public's help to track down three customers who racked a $200 bill and allegedly left without paying.

Desmond Francois claims the October 15 incident was the first of three separate 'dine and dash' incidents within a week at the Hog's Breath Cafe in the Perth suburb of Morley in Western Australia.

Four days later, it's claimed another male customer fled without paying his $46 bill before a different customer left dodged his $37 tab the next day.

Store CCTV captured the three patrons claimed to be involved in the October 15 incident at around 12.15pm, which the popular eatery then posted on social media.

'Hey all Hoggie people out there! We need your help in identifying these thieves who walked out of Hog's Morley without paying for their meals and drinks leaving a $200 tab,' the Facebook post read.

'The authorities have been contacted but any help in identifying them is greatly appreciated.'

Mr Francois told news.com.au that the trio ordered starters, mains, desserts and several rounds of drinks.

'The most upsetting part is while they were in the restaurant I was out there on multiple occasions chatting about how their week had been and having a good time with them,' he said.

'They ordered food, more drinks and then dessert and as they ordered, they said they were just going out for a quick smoke and that they'd be straight back.'

The 'dine and dash' incidents are on top of $2000 the cafe lost in August due to credit card fraud.

The store's Facebook post sparked thousands of likes, shares and comments, where many locals were shocked by the incident.

'That’s so sad that they did that. But this is life now unfortunately,' one person commented.

The store took to Facebook in a public appeal to track down the trio who were friendly to staff before making off without paying

Another added: 'And the more this happens, eventually you will be required to pay when ordering.'

Mr Francois has contacted police regrading the recent thefts.

'I ’m not letting this die down. I want justice or the money back, or both,' he said.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Western Australia Police for comment.
