Samrat Reddy collects relief material for cyclone-ravaged Srikakulam
With Tollywood stars lending a helping hand to the cyclone-ravaged areas of Srikakulam, our TV stars are not too far behind. Actor Samrat Reddy, one of the finalists in the recently concluded Bigg Boss Telugu 2, decided to step up and organised a donation drive for the cyclone-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh. The donation drive also doubled up as a fan meet and Samrat, who had donated `50,000 towards the cause, urged his fans to contribute and stand for the victims.

“If we don’t stand for our people, who will? People who aren’t affected by this may wonder why they should contribute, but natural disasters can come anywhere and anytime and if we don’t act today, then no one might come to save us tomorrow,” the Samrat said.
Taking a veiled dig at Kaushal Army, Samrat said that real ‘armies’ stand up for real causes and help the needy. “Instead of trolling people on social media, I request all fans to put their combined
energy into helping those in need. That will truly define the term ‘army’,” he said.
