UP: Kasganj, Farrukhabad police nab 127 men in 48 hours ahead of festival month

In a drive against absconding wanted men and those against whom court issued non-bailable warrants in cases of murder, loot, robbery and others, Kasganj police arrested 47 in less than 12 hours, while Farrukhabad police arrested 80 men in 48 hours.

AGRA: In a drive against absconding wanted men and those against whom court issued non-bailable warrants in cases of murder, loot, robbery and others, Kasganj police arrested 47 persons in less than 12 hours, while Farrukhabad police arrested 80 men in 48 hours.
According to Tribhuwan Singh, additional superintendent of police, Farrukhabad, “In 14 police stations across the district a drive was conducted to arrest all the men who can be possible threat to peace and tranquillity during festival.”
Similarly, nine police stations of Kasganj district police conducted drive on intervening night of Saturday and Sunday to arrest the wanted men.
