Undivided Magadh University Part three exams from December 1

Undivided Magadh University Part three exams from December 1
GAYA: The much-delayed Degree Part III exams of the undivided Magadh University will now commence on December 1. Out of 1,86,000 students, 86,000 of them enrolled in non-affiliated colleges would be taking the exams across seven districts, including Patna and Nalanda.
Confirming the decision, MU VC Prof Qamar Ahsan said the exam dates were fixed at a meeting held on Sunday. The exam has been delayed on two counts — due to confusion caused by the university’s bifurcation and creation of Pataliputra University carved out of the parent MU and again in the light of HC order on non-affiliated colleges.
The exam was earlier scheduled to commence on October 1, but it had to be postponed following violence and arson by the students, who were debarred from taking the exam.
A couple of days back, the HC provided some relief to the non-affiliated college students who have now been allowed to sit for the exams but their results will be published only after getting state government nod.
