UP: Kasganj police arrest three with 190 kg beef

On Saturday Kasganj district police arrested three men who were allegedly found smuggling 190 kg of beef.

AGRA: Kasganj district police arrested three men who were allegedly found smuggling 190 kg of beef, on Saturday.
The men were nabbed by a team of Dariyavganj police outpost which comes under Patiyali police jurisdiction.
According to sub-inspector Mahavir Singh, incharge of Dariyavganj police outpost, “During a routine check, we caught the three men from Naurangabad tri-section of Bhargain road, while they were carrying the beef on a motor-bike in a sack.”
He said, “Total 190 kg of flesh was recovered, which was later disposed of after taking sample of it for lab test.
The three accused identified as Nadeem Qureshi, Munesh and Firoz Khan have been booked under UP Cow Slaughter Act.”
Earlier on Thursday, Sahawar police of Kasganj district caught five men while they were slaughtering an ox.
