CAMPO, Calif. — A hiker was rescued by volunteers in southeast San Diego County Saturday afternoon.
Crews arrived at the scene on the Pacific Crest Trail near Lake Morena just before 12:30 p.m. after getting calls about a distressed hiker.

Cal Fire later said the hiker had been found by trail volunteers and that their team was no longer needed.
