Air India Express will run services to Doha 4 days a week from the second week of December, says a report in Mathrubhumi.com
“We have information on our booking system that Doha-Kannur services are to start on December 10,” says Keshavadas of Sunrise Travel, a Rayyan based travel agent.
But he hasn’t got any go-on with the booking. “All we have got is a ‘We will update you soon’ message” he adds.
Mathrubhumi.com further reports that the director general of civil aviation “briefed the details regarding this on Friday.”
Kannur airport is located at Mattanur in Kannur district of Kerala. It will be the fourth international airport in Kerala after Kozhikode, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The airline has got approval to operate from Kannur International Airport from December 9.
