Croatia has long drawn in intrepid explorers thanks to its bustling cities, breathtaking national parks and brilliant attractions.
We're talking historic old towns, ridiculously pretty islands and party hotspots, iconic parks with lakes and waterfalls, and plenty of jaw-dropping natural highlights.
Then of course the fact it's currently on the UK's green watchlist - meaning no need to self-isolate or quarantine back in the UK - paired with the country welcoming both unvaccinated and vaccinated Brits means it's become one of the most tempting holiday options this summer.
(The watchlist does mean it's at a higher risk of being moved to amber).
So, what are the best places to visit in Croatia? Check out our top pick of Croatia's best things to see and do below...
1. Dubrovnik's Old Town
Take a tour of the this UNESCO World Heritage Site's iconic historic walls, before making your way through the picturesque cobbled streets to take in the eye-catching architecture, beautiful Baroque churches and some pretty impressive fortresses.
It's not just the Old Town that makes the city such a must-visit spot however. We've got a dedicated Dubrovnik city guide with more of the city's best spots including the beautiful beaches and nearby islands you won't want to miss.
