Wanted in Rs 4 lakh robbery, cops nab two men in Etah

Agra: In early morning encounter, Etah district police apprehended two men who were allegedly involved in the last month robbery of Rs 4 lakh.
Identified as Vikram Singh and Raju, the duo was caught from Varna tri-section of Jaithra police jurisdiction at around 3:25 am on Wednesday.
Chaman Goswami, station house officer of Jaithra said, “On October 24 afternoon, the two accused along with their gang member Bhisampal and Avnish, robbed a father and son near Nai Chungi on Shikohabad road while they were returning from bank with cash.”
“After the encounter police managed to recover Rs 1.44 lakh cash along with two country-made pistol.
The other two members of the gang would soon be arrested,” he added.
For conducting the operation successfully, superintendent of police Etah awarded Rs 25,000 to the team.
