Plastic factory gutted as fire breaks out in Delhi's Bawana industrial area

A major fire gutted a four storied factory at the Bawana Industrial area on Wednesday night. Fire officials say that the building was stacked with plastic pellets due to which the fire spread rapidly. No casualties were reported till early morning.

NEW DELHI: A four storied plastic factory was gutted when a major fire broke out at the Bawana Industrial area on Wednesday late night. No casualties have been reported so far.
The incident was reported around last midnight when locals reported about the blaze at the factory premises located in A block.

Till early Thursday morning efforts were being made to control the blaze, which engulfed the building, including the basement.

Fire officials said that they had to evacuate the adjacent buildings after cracks began to appear on them.
