Narendra Modi will hit the BJP's campaign in the poll-bound
Madhya Pradesh from November 16 and address two public meetings in Chambal and Mahakauskal regions on the first day believed to be the bastion of Congress Lok Sabha members,
Jyotiraditya Scindia and
Kamal Nath.
The prime minister will first address a public meeting in the tribal dominated Shahdol district and later in Gwalior.
During his five-day tour to the state, PM Modi will address two public meetings every day, mostly on alternative days, said state BJP chief Rakesh Singh.
According to sources in BJP, with an eye on the forthcoming
Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has planned PM Modi's campaign to cover 11 prominent parliamentary constituencies in the state.
After November 16, the Prime Minister will address rallies on November 18, 20, 23 and 25. His second visit has been scheduled for Chhindwara and Indore districts which will be followed by Jhabua and Rewa on November 20, Mandsaur and Chhatarpur on November 23 and finally Vidisha and Jabalpur on November 25.
Singh said that the party is looking forward to the Prime Minister's visit to the state who is a charismatic leader with power to influence all age-groups among the voters. His visit will immensely benefit the BJP to attain its goal of winning over 200 assembly seats out of 230 in the state, he said.
