Two men arrested for stealing headphones at knifepoint in Kilburn

Two men have been arrested for stealing a pair of headphones at knifepoint in Adelaide's north on Thursday night.

A young man was walking along Galway Street in Kilburn around 10.15pm when two men approached him with their faces covered.

The two men, in their 20s, allegedly threatened the man with a knife, stole his headphones and walked off.

Police searched the area and located two suspects a couple of blocks away near the intersection of Prospect Rd and The Parade in Blair Athol.

The knife was recovered and the headphones were returned to the victim.

A 23-year-old Blair Athol man and a 22-year-old man from Kilburn were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

After being refused bail, they will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
