Secunderabad Cantonment ward members support TRS

Secunderabad: In a support promise, Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) civilian ward members brought relief to G Sayanna, TRS candidate from the cantonment Assembly segment.
Along with SCB vice president, J Ramakrishna, ward members Sada Kesava Reddy, Pandu Yadav, Lokanadham and two more expressed their support to the TRS candidate.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise as of the eight ward members, seven were elected in 2015 SCB polls, with the support of TRS."We have to support TRS as chances are G Sayanna will win," a ward member told TOI.
Sources say that Sayanna proposed some 'big offer' to the ward members to win easy. Members, however, are yet to expresse their willingness to take the offer. "We may lose local support for this," said a ward member.
It may be mentioned that for any complaint on water, drainage, road repairs or even pension, locals have to first approach ward members. Riding on this contact motion, a SCB ward member hinted an 'offer' from Congress as well.
