Milad-un-Nabi revellers, VHP men clash in Mirzapur

A clash between VHP activists and revellers observing Milad-un-Nabi led to communal tension in Mirzapur on Tuesday. The clash occurred at a VHP rally in Varanasi on Tuesday meant to mobilise people to reach Ayodhya on November 25 for temple construction. After some VHP men allegedly “disturbed” flags put up for Milad-un-Nabi, some youths attacked the rally, “targeting boys dressed as Hindu deities.”
