Three persons died in a road accident at Mettuguda when their speeding bike rammed into a Metro Rail pillar in the wee hours of Tuesday.

SECUNDERABAD: Three persons died in a road accident at Mettuguda when their speeding bike rammed into a Metro Rail pillar in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The victims were identified as, B Uday, 23, a Bpharmacy graduate, V Uday Reddy, 20, and N Prithvi Raj, 20, engineering students of Suryapet district.
The youngsters were on their way to Secunderabad from Uday's room in Uppal when the mishap occurred at around 1.30 am.
The bike crashed into the pillar at a high speed while trying to overtake a car, Lalaguda police said.
The youngsters who were not wearing helmets, died on the spot. Police registered a case under section 304a of the IPC.
