Anna University exams to resume conducting in non-cyclone affected districts from Thursday

Anna University has announced that affiliated colleges in cyclone affected districts will be exempted from Thursday and Friday's exams

CHENNAI: Anna University will resume conducting of semester examinations for affiliated colleges from Thursday (November 22).
According to an official release, the university had postponed exams for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in 538 affiliated colleges which was scheduled in between November 15 to 20 due to Cyclone Gaja.
The examinations scheduled from November 22, 2018 for affiliated colleges of Anna University will be conducted as scheduled.

However, the examinations scheduled on November 22 and 23, 2018 will not be conducted for the colleges located in Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur and Pudukkottai districts (College Codes: 8201, 8202, 8203, 8204, 8208, 8211, 8215, 8216, 8217, 8222, 8226, 8123, 8128, 8144, 8302, 9103, 9109, 9112, 9114, 9116, 9117, 9124 and 9126).
The schedule for the postponed examinations for the colleges in the districts of Nagapattinam Thiruvarur and Pudukottai districts will be announced later.
As per the revised schedule, the exam scheduled on November 15 will be conducted on Thursday (November 22) and other postponed exams will be held in between December 13 to 17.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (TN DOTE) has revised the exam schedule for all polytechnic colleges in the state once again.

Earlier, DOTE announced that exams supposed to be held between November 15 to 17 will be held in between November 22 to 24. But it has changed the dates again and as per the new schedule, these exams will be conducted in between November 27 to 30.
Other exams postponed to November 26 and 28 will be conducted on the said dates without any change.
