Today as Rajnikanth's highly anticipated movie ‘2.0’ is releasing at the box office, his fans are having Man Soru (putting rice in the empty floor and eating) for the success of the movie and their loved star’s well being.

‘2.0’ is the sequel to 2010 released sci-fi ‘Robot’. The movie marks the debut of Akshay Kumar in Kollywood. The director Shankar in one of the media interviews revealed that his first choice for the antagonist part was Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but the things didn’t work out at the negotiation stage.

‘2.0’ is one of the most expensive movies made in Indian cinema. If reports are to be believed, a whopping amount of Rs.543 crores has been spent on the movie. Technicians and experts from around the globe have contributed to the making of this science fiction.
Along with super star Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, the movie features Ammy Jackson. Musical maestro A.R. Rahman has given background score to the same.
