We’ve saved the best of the Indonesian International Motor Show 2012 for last, as usual, but the great news is that this post isn’t going to be the only one of its kind. Danny was also there at the JI Expo in Jakarta, and he’s got his own cache of photos to share, which he’ll proceed to do so sometime later today or tomorrow (update: he has, and it’s here).
The IIMS can’t be called a huge show, but it’s undoubtedly growing, as is its significance. Honda, which was expected to debut the facelifted CR-Z in Paris, pulled a massive surprise and gave the car its world premiere in Jakarta, and in doing so gave us the means to break the news globally, the very first English-language automotive publication to do so.
It also gave us the honour of being able to share our CR-Z photos and information with many significant publications worldwide. As far as scoops go, this one must surely rank as one of our best.
There was also the debut of the Toyota/Daihatsu twins, the Agya and Ayla, which should shape up as important players in the bustling city car segment in the country. Daihatsu also premiered the UFC Concept, as well as showcased the likes of the Sirion Sport and D-X and D-R concepts. Meanwhile, Subaru unveiled the Malaysian-assembled CKD Subaru XV 2.0i at the event, which runs until this Sunday, September 30.
But enough of that. We all know why you’re here on this particular post, and so we present to you part one of the girls of the IIMS 2012, the photos of which you’ll find after the jump. Like you need to be told, really.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Just two words….thank you and again and again and again and again.
my dream babes/maids.. owh.. one can only wish..
Maid? Soon we Malaysian will be maid for them, Indonesia is growing like no one business.
r u sure Indonesian is growing? I admit Malaysia is growing slow but Indonesia is growing faster? Base on what fact?
u got the same mindset as the top man who govern our country which still clueless of what is going on out there…..
y the big names of car manufacturer set up car manufacturing plants and R&D over there at Jarkarta instead of at Malaysia?
because the population is 10 times bigger than Malaysia… they can supply lots more cheap labours compared to Malaysia. I would say, if a manufacturer need lots of workers, they will always build factory in cheap countries like china and indonesia.
Corruption is their way of life there. There’s no way they can grow faster than us.
Why are there millions of them working here?
Don’t simply write without thinking first ler…
i rather marry these girls than paying RM30,000 hantaran for local girls if their parent want me to pay.
Do you think these girl come cheaper than RM30k?
Or I am confuse, can’t decoded of what you are trying to say bro.
It is all depends on how and where and what local girl you looking for, bro. There are many specs, just like car.
If you want a ‘fast’ car, be prepare to pay now and after.
If you want a cheap and economical car to run, don’t buy Ferrari. A Vios or Proton or Perodua is a good bargain for your money.
I married a local girl (with university degree and good job) back in 2010, for only RM9,000 of the dowry. And now we already got two great cute and healthy kids. I am lie to everybody if I say that I don’t dream any of the girl in the pictures, but, as a perpatah say: UKUR BAJU DI BADAN SENDIRI.
rm30k to indonesian is big bro. not 30k indo money we’re talking here.u can buy condo there.so..i think no problem to married these girls..
come on bro …. it’s just the exchange rate of rupiah that fool our minds. everyone think that with our RM1 exchange Rp3000, so RM30k can get Rp93million right? That is just number on paper. Jakarta standard of living are on par or even higher than KL. Some other Indonesia cities like Surabaya, Medan etc, a plate of fried kueh tiau at hawker stall can cost RM6 or 7. Unless at ulu places, RM30k still can made you a king for a while only…
aiyoo..we’re talking about the cost of preparation for weeding (hantaran)there bro.not buying girls.buying for hantaran doesnt have to be only at medan or surabaya bro..many places there can get things that are cheap.
Auntie-auntie are everywhere
Heavens…!
drool drool nyum nyum……. :-D
thanks anthony (& danny).
I love Indon :)
wonder why msian is having lesser pretty show gals as compare to Indo? Mayb d organiser think that we just like cars, not gals.
That’s because they pay WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better over there compared to here? Check out the rates here next time… it ridiculous.
FAPTANSTIC
i luv cars n babes!
Went there. My favourite was Honda girls.
awesome
I like the face of the middle girl in the 1st picture, but I don’t know what in her brain is, her attitude and behaviour. Is she going to be serious in our relationship.
Talking about paying RM30OOO to mother in-law? Insulting. Your good wife definitely worth 200 times that value, be her an Indonesian or Malaysian.
