First order of business

After a four-day wedding celebration and a reception in Delhi, new bride Priyanka Chopra kicked off the week by updating her Instagram handle to Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The actress, who has over 30 million followers on the photo-sharing site, also celebrated her comeback on the Forbes ‘World’s 100 most influential women’ list.

“It’s a reminder to stay hungry, keep pushing the status quo and continuing to do what I love.And on that note, back to work,” she shared. Hateful ‘thinkpieces’ and bad press for an airport look sure can’t bring this Desi Girl down.
Year of the bride
It sure seems to be the year of the brides. Buzz around her wedding and subsequent series of receptions had barely died down when a UK-based newspaper returned with its annual list of Asia’s sexiest women. And Deepika Padukone, who has topped the list once before, has reclaimed the spot. Incidentally, last year’s topper was Priyanka, who came in second this year, while TV actress Nia Sharma is at number three as she held onto her position as the sexiest TV star in the list for the third year in a row.
