In Updated 'Power Grid: Recharged' Edition

Just in time for Power Grid’s 15th Anniversary, 2F-Spiele and Rio Grande Games have announced an updated version of their long-running staple. Power Grid: Recharged will release in 2019. Power Grid: Recharged is an updated version of the 2004 Friedemann Friese classic, which puts players in control of electric power companies competing for market share and profits by purchasing production plants, manipulating the supply of fuel resources, and expanding into new markets. The updated version is identical to the original game except for a few rules tweaks to smooth and improve gameplay. It supports games with 2 to 6 players, ages 13 and up, and takes at least an hour and a half to play. MSRP is $49.95. Earlier this year, Rio Grande released an expansion to the game that combines it with elements of another Friese design, Fabled Fruit (see "‘Broadhorns,’ ‘Epoch,’ ‘Beta Colony,’ ‘Power Grid Fabled Expansion’").
