No clue in Nalanda girl's murder case

BIHARSHARIF: Police are still clueless about the killers of a 15-year-old Nalanda girl, whose brutalised body was recovered from a field on the outskirts of Kakadia village under Noorsarai police station area on Saturday.
Noorsarai police station SHO Sunil Kumar Nirjhar said on Monday that deceased, who was a student of Class X, went missing on Friday night.
She had gone to attend a pre-wedding function at her neighbour Vibhushan Paswa's house in the evening from where she did not retun in the night. An FIR in this connection was lodged on Sunday. Her relatives and villagers frantically searched for her on Friday night. Her body was recovered on Saturday from a field with her neck tied with her scarf and her head bearing a deep injury mark, the SHO said.
Relatives of the deceased had expressed apprehension of the minor being raped before she being killed. However, the SHO denied any rape.
Recently, a minor was allegedly raped by one Karu Paswan at a village under Rahui PS area in the district on December 11.
