Young fan skydives to greet Jagan Reddy on his birthday
GUNTUR: Kotha Ramakrishna, an ardent fan of YSRCP chief Jagan, choose a novel way, Skydive, to extend the birthday greetings to his leader. Ramakrishna, residing in Johannesburg in South Africa, performed the feat from a height of 11,000ft on Friday.
Ramakrishna’s jumping from skies to extend the birthday greetings to Jagan has put the fans of the opposition leader in AP on cloud nine.
Social media platforms were flooded with the pictures of Ramakrishna’s skydiving as the followers of Jagan and YSRCP leaders rained appreciations on the young fan for performing the risky feat.
Ramakrishna is native of Gurazala in Guntur district and grandson of former legislator Kotha Venkateswarlu. His paternal grandfather Venkateswaralu served as Gurazala legislator in 1962 as Congress nominee. Ramakrishna completed his high school in local ZP high school. He moved to Johannesburg in March, 2018 after getting a job in Standard Bank in South Africa.
“I am a staunch follower of Jagan Anna and thought of doing something special to extend my greetings on his birthday. So, took the route of Skydiving,” Ramakrishna said. He wore a flex poster of Jagan with birthday wishes on his shirt before jumping from the skies. He said that millions of people from across the globe were eagerly waiting to see Jagan as CM. “He may be single person. Billions of hearts are beating for him,” he said referring to Jagan. He shared a video on social media highlighting the leadership qualities of Jagan.
He said that some of the fans of Jagan in South Africa organized food for about 300 children in Sanbernadino city.
Ramakrishna’s friends rushed with greetings on completion of skydiving. “Hey, Ram, we are proud of you,” one of his friend wished.
Meanwhile, a group of medicine students celebrated Jagan’s birthday in Liaoning Medical University in China. YSRCP China medical student union president Kushal Reddy led the celebrations.
Interestingly, Nizamabad MP and daughter of Telangana CM, KCR, Kavitha’s wishes to Jagan had also received huge response from Jagan fans. “Jagan Anna, Many Happy returns of the day,” tweeted Kavitha. In reply, Jagan said: Thank you for your warm wishes Kavithamma. Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, West Bengal CM Mamatha Benarjee, union minister Harshavardhan were among others who extended birthday greetings to Jagan.
