BJP MLA booked for murder

FAIZABAD: BJP MLA from Gosaiganj assembly constituency of Faizabad district has been booked for getting a government contractor murdered.
Ajay Pratap Singh, alias Sonu Singh (40) , who worked as contractor with UP power corporation in rural electrification programme was murdered in broad daylight at his residence in Kaushalpuri colony under Cantonment police station area of Faizabad on Saturday .
Singh was shot by unidentified gunmen in his house around 4pm, said police. In his complaint to police, Ajay Pratap's father Rajkumar Singh has accused BJP MLA Indra Pratap, alias Khabbu Tiwari, of getting his son murdered.
Rajkumar Singh told police that Khabbu Tiwari was demanding extortion money from his son and had threatened him to kill him else. Police has registered an FIR against BJP MLA Khabbu Tiwari and two unidentified shooters.
