Konkan Railway to start special winter trains for Goa

The Konkan Railway has announced winter special trains for Xmas and New Year to Goa to cater to rush of commuters.
This includes the 02001 / 02002 Lokmanya Tilak - Karmali superfast weekly special train which will leave Mumbai at 12.45 am on Christmas and New Year day and reach Karmali at 1.30 pm same day. The return train from Karmali will at 2 pm on the same days and reach LTT at 11.45 pm. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal and Thivim stations.
Similarly, the KR will run another winter special train from Mumbai CSMT to Madgaon on December 27 and January 3.The train will leave CSMT at 11.05 am and reach Madgaon at 12.35 am next day. The return train will leave Madgaon at 6 am and reach Mumbai CSMT at 5.55 pm. Train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim and Karmali station.
