Forge greater love and bonding among human beings, says President Ram Nath Kovind

UDUPI: It is imperative to forge greater love and bonding between humans in the world, averred President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday.
The creator has come up with various creations in this world and human being is the creator’s finest creation. Fostering love and bonding among this creation is the need of the hour, the President said, adding although the people refer to the creator by different names according to their faith, the creator’s constitution is the same.
Expressing these thoughts during his maiden visit to Pejavar Math and Sri Krishna Temple in Udupi on Wednesday, the President said, “It was my ardent wish to visit the famed Sri Krishna Temple for long.The visit today has given me happiness. I had heard a lot about Sri Vishvesha Thirtha, seer of Pejavar math from his disciple and Union minister Uma Bharati. I am happy to see the seer go about his various tasks with a sense of utmost liveliness.”
Wishing that the seer lives to be a centenarian, the President hoped that Sri Vishvesha Thirtha carries out more work in his chosen areas of religion and for society that he has been doing for the past several decades. Noting that ‘Ramarajya’ is a ideal that the seer cherishes, he said it is a model to how a ruler must rule the subjects. If one follows ideals enshrined in ‘Ramarajya’, the world will be a much happier place for all to live in, the President averred.
Sri Vishvesha Thirtha said the visit of the President to the Sri Krishna Temple set up by the proponent of Dwaita philosophy Sri Madhwacharya has brought him immense happiness. Sri Vidyadeesha Thirtha, the paryaya seer welcomed the President, who was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind, the governor Vajubhai Vala, his Nagaland counterpart PB Acharya, district minister Jayamala, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary and other elected representatives.
