BIHARSHARIF: Nalanda police on Thursday recovered the bodies of two youths from two different places in the district.
While Hilsa police on Thursday morning recovered the body of a 16-year-old youth from a roadside ditch near Badki Ghosi area, Parwalpur police recovered the body of another 16-year-old youth from Jhuma Bagicha near Dumri village under its jurisdiction.

Hilsa PS SHO Prem Raj Chauhan said the deceased identified as Ajay Kumar, had bullet injuries in his head. He was a resident of Kazi Chak locality in Patna district. A maternal uncle of the deceased told police that Ajay used to work at the clinic of a lady doctor at Barh. On Wednesday evening, the doctor had informed his mother that he would sleep in the clinic in the night, but his body was recovered on Thursday morning. Police tried to contact the doctor but her cellphone was switched off.
A police officer at Parwalpur police station Pramod Kumar said, “The deceased boy, identified as Bulbul Kumar, was a resident of Dumri village under the same police station area. Bulbul had left home after receiving a call on his cellphone around 7 pm on Wednesday. When he did not return home till 10 pm, his parents made a call on his cellphone, which was found switched off. They searched for the entire night and found his body in the morning. His head was badly smashed.”
Angry relatives and co-villagers have blocked Biharsharif-Ekangarsarai (NH-33) highway near Nishchalganj to demand immediate arrest of Bulbul’s murderers. The villagers had not lifted the blockade till the time of filing the report.
