BJP MP writes to Faizabad DM for house to Ram

FAIZABAD: BJP MP from Ghosi Harinarayan Rajbhar on Thursday wrote a letter to Faizabad district magistrate seeking a house for Ram Lalla in Ayodhya under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Rajbhar had on Wednesday announced that he will approach the authorities for ensuring that Lord Ram, residing in a tent, gets a house under the government scheme.
In his letter, a copy of which is with TOI, Rajbhar stated that presently the idol of Ram Lalla has been placed in a tent where regular puja is being performed.Since the place is where Lord Ram was born but the place does not have a permanent roof.
“At a time when the Union government is determined to provide houses to all those without a roof, and is ensuring that no homeless should be left out of the scheme, Ram Lalla is still living in a tent,” the MP said.
“As Ram Lalla is living in a tent, the district magistrate must provide him a house at the place where his idols have been placed after the consecration rituals so that Ram Lalla also gets a roof,” Rajbhar wrote in the letter addressed to DM.
