Maharashtra: Eight hurt as iron bridge collapses in Satara
Iron bridge collapsed in Kharoshi village
KOLHAPUR: Eight persons were seriously injured after a small iron bridge collapsed in Kharoshi village, 40 km away from Mahabaleshwar in Satara district on Sunday.
The incident happened when the villagers were passing through the bridge to reach a crematorium near river to perform final rites on a 95-year-old woman from the village. All the injured have been admitted at a local hospital for treatment.
