A speeding truck rammed into a hutment killing at least six people in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli district on Tuesday.
The incident took place at about 5.30 am when the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle.
The incident occurred in Malda village early morning when a truck carrying cattle rammed into a hutment, SP of Chandauli Santosh Kumar Singh said.
"While six people have died, one girl has been injured. She has been admitted to a hospital," the police official said.
The deceased are yet to be identified, police said.
