NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is likely to release the IBPS Clerk preliminary examination 2018 (CWE Clerk VIII) result soon on its official website.
According to the sources, the IBPS Clerk preliminary results are expected to be released by the board during the first week of January 2019. The IBPS Clerk preliminary result likely to be released either late evening on January 4 or by noon on January 5, added the sources.

Candidates are advised to follow the IBPS website regularly to know about the results.
The IBPS had conducted the clerk preliminary examination on December 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2018.
The IBPS Clerk main examination will be held on January 20, 2019. And the Admit Card for the IPBS Clerk Main Exam 2018 can be downloaded from the official website from January 14, 2019 onward. Those who clear the prelims will be eligible for the main examination.
In the main examination, candidates will get two hours and 40 minutes to solve 190 questions divided in four sections (of 50 marks each) of 200 marks.
The IBPS Clerk final result will be declared in the month of April/May 2019.

After the declaration of the result the IBPS will roll out the provisional allotment letter to the successful candidates for the appointment at various participating banks across India.

1) Log on to the IBPS official website - ipbs.in
2) Click on link that says: "Clerk preliminary Exam Result 2018"
3) A new page will appear on your screen
4) Login through your registration number and password
5) Now, enter Captcha code
6) Click on the "Submit" button, your result will appear on your screen
7) Download and save it
8) Take printout for future use
