January is one of the busiest times of year for festive engagements and wedding planning, but luckily a new app is coming to the rescue.

The iVOW - Wedding Planner app has been designed by a wedding coordinator to streamline the wedding planning process between engaged couples and their chosen wedding venues and suppliers.

This means the app has all the tools needed to plan a wedding, and the best feature is that it can be used wherever and whenever with instant access, with no need to carry around heavy wedding planner books.

Plus, this app has been created for everyone involved in the wedding, couples can log in on multiple devices and send updated guest lists to their parents or the wedding coordinator.

iVOW – Wedding Planner has just celebrated its first birthday this month and in just one year, this app has been shortlisted for multiple wedding awards.

The woman behind iVOW

Gemma King is the manager and designer of iVOW, and she was keen to create an app that streamlined the wedding planning process, allowing industry experts and engaged couples to plan seamlessly together using the same system and process.

Gemma was previously a wedding coordinator for exceptional wedding venues across south Wales, so she knows all the tips and tricks to planning a wedding. This knowledge has been the foundation to creating iVOW.

From the outset, iVOW has been created with the couples in mind, so they will have everything they need to plan an unforgettable wedding.

The app has many clever features which have been tailored specifically to guide couples through planning their dream wedding. For example:

  • Create guest lists and alter RSVPs instantly
  • Build a table plan using the venue's floor plan
  • Explore the pre-built to-do list that can be personalised
  • Keep budgets in line by using the special budget planner
  • Experiment with the moodboard feature
  • Use the ‘Venue & Supplier’ service where users can add their favourite venue or supplier, download brochures and place enquiries with them
  • Take advantage of the personal library, as this is where users can save brochures, invoices and suppliers details

Plus, couples who use the app can synchronise with their venue and suppliers to open full interactivity once the venue or suppliers subscribe to the iVOW service.
