NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared the IBPS Clerk prelims result 2018 today, i.e., January 4, 2019 on its official website - ibps.in. The candidates who had appeared for the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam are advised to visit the official website to check and download their result online.
Now the IBPS will release the score of the candidates in a few days. Candidates, who have cleared the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the mains exam, which will be conducted on January 20, 2019.

The results for the CWE clerk VIII examination, conducted on December 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2018, is now available on official website. The IBPS had announced this recruitment examination for a total of 7,275 clerk vacancies.
The last date to download the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2018 result is January 11, 2019. The candidates are advised to download their result before the closure date.
Last year, the IBPS Clerk preliminary exam results were announced on December 29, 2017.
The admit card for the IBPS Clerk Main examination, which is to be conducted on January 20, 2019, is likely to be released either on January 5 or January 6, 2019.
Based on the IBPS Main Exam results, the provisional allotment of banks to the successful candidates will be announced in the month of April 2019.

Steps to check IBPS Clerk prelims result 2018:
1) Log on to the official website of IBPS: ibps.in
2) Click on link "Result" link given on the top of the page
3) A new page will appear on your screen
4) Enter your registration number and password
5) Enter Captcha code
6) Click on the submit button
7) Check your IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam result and download it
7) Take printout for future use
For the IBPS main examination, candidates will get 160 minutes for solving 190 questions of 200 marks. There is the provision of the negative marking also. If a candidate gives wrong answer then 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty from his total marks. If no answer is given, or candidate does not attempt any question, then no mark will be deducted from his/her scores.
