‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ new song: ‘Vijayi Bhava’ encapsulates Rani Laxmibai’s heroism quite aptly

Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year. While the trailer of the film has already has the audience waiting for the movie with bated breaths, to add on to the anticipation the makers launched the music of the film today.
The song titled, ‘Vijayi Bhava’ celebrates the fighting spirit within all of us. The patriotic song has been penned by Prasoon Joshi and has music composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.The song shows the heroism of the warrior queen of India in the best manner possible.

Speaking about the song ‘Vijayi Bhava’, Shankar Mahadevan had reportedly said that in any musician’s career, a film like ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ becomes a landmark. According to him, it is challenging and musically enriching. He added that they been lucky enough to be offered projects like these that are milestones in our careers. Even after 50 years, he says that they can look back and say that they were proud to create music for this kind of a historical epic. The songs reportedly have musical depth, melody and patriotic flavour. The singer also added that it is a proud moment for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
The song is about war preparation that has been shot on a massive scale and is reportedly the first song recorded for the film. According to Kangana Ranaut the song reportedly has a high tempo that will be celebrated.
‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and also features actors like Jisshu Sengupta, Ankita Lokhande, Suresh Oberoi, Danny, Denzongpa and others in key role.
The much-awaited period film will be hitting the theatres on January 25, 2019.
