NEW DELHI: Commuters in east Delhi and Noida can expect a much smoother ride by the month end, thanks to two major projects set to open in the next few days — a new six-lane bridge over the Yamuna at Kalindi Kunj and a flyover on the Noida Link Road near Mayur Vihar.
The new bridge is likely to be inaugurated on January 25 after missing two deadlines, the Noida Authority said. Running parallel to the old Kalindi Kunj bridge, the road will significantly reduce travel time between Noida and south Delhi.

The flyover near Mayur Vihar, also long delayed, is set to be opened to the public in the next few days, PWD officials said.
It’ll ease traffic movement between Akshardham and Noida.
