Arsenal are interested in signing Gelson Martins on loan from Atletico Madrid.
As reported by The Mirror, Martins is also wanted by former Arsenal player Thierry Henry at Monaco.
The winger has made only eight league appearances so far this season.
Talented young Wolves goalkeeper Andreas Sondergaard has signed a new contract with the club.
The 18-year-old has produced some impressive performances for the club at U23 level since joining from Odense Boldklub in January last year.
Sondergaard has now signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract, as reported by Wolves' official website.
Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is reportedly set for a return to Italian football by joining Juventus on an initial loan deal.
Darmian has made just six appearances for United this season and his contract expires at the end of the season.
As reported by The Guardian, Darmian is poised to sign for Juventus on loan for the rest of the season, after which the Italian club will have the option to purchase him for €8million (£7.1million)
West Bromwich Albion are reportedly set to offer former player Giles Barnes a contract.
As reported by The Sun on Sunday, Barnes, who is a free agent after leaving Colorado Rapids, impressed Baggies manager Darren Moore during a recent training camp in Dubai.
Barnes made 28 appearances for West Brom between 2010 and 2011. He is capable of playing up front, on either flank or as an attacking midfielder.
Turkish side Besiktas are considering a move for Tottenham outcast Georges-Kevin N'Koudou.
The 23-year-old has made just one appearance for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season, with that outing coming in the EFL Cup.
N'Koudou made the bench for Tottenham against Fulham today, but could still leave the club this month according to L'Equipe.
Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Rangers are close to signing Matt Polster from Chicago Fire.
Although he is usually deployed as a central midfielder, Polster is also capable of operating at right-back if required and is set to join Rangers on a long-term deal, as reported by Sky Sports.
Polster previously impressed while on trial at Rangers, but Gerrard denied any interest in Wigan's Nick Powell.
Stewart Downing could leave Middlesbrough this month owing to an unusual clause in his contract.
As reported by The Telegraph, Downing has made 149 appearances in his second spell at Middlesbrough and playing one more game would entitle him to an improved contract.
Downing, who currently earns £35,000-a-week, has held discussions with the club and will be allowed to depart if a suitable offer is made.
Lyon attacker Maxwel Cornet has no interest in joining Watford.

Reports emanating from his native Brazil say a verbal agreement is already in place for the 21-year-old to join Madrid but United are still in the hunt.
Militao can play as a centre-back, right-back or holding midfielder and has impressed at Porto with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton also monitoring his progress.
