The 18-year-old has produced some impressive performances for the club at U23 level since joining from Odense Boldklub in January last year.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is reportedly set for a return to Italian football by joining Juventus on an initial loan deal.

Darmian has made just six appearances for United this season and his contract expires at the end of the season.

As reported by The Guardian, Darmian is poised to sign for Juventus on loan for the rest of the season, after which the Italian club will have the option to purchase him for €8million (£7.1million)

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly set to offer former player Giles Barnes a contract.

As reported by The Sun on Sunday, Barnes, who is a free agent after leaving Colorado Rapids, impressed Baggies manager Darren Moore during a recent training camp in Dubai.

Barnes made 28 appearances for West Brom between 2010 and 2011. He is capable of playing up front, on either flank or as an attacking midfielder.

SIMON JONES: Manchester United are competing with Real Madrid as they plot a summer move for Porto defender Eder Militao.

Reports emanating from his native Brazil say a verbal agreement is already in place for the 21-year-old to join Madrid but United are still in the hunt.

SIMON JONES: Marko Arnautovic's move to China collapsed on Saturday night after Guangzhou Evergrande pulled out of the proposed £45million deal.

The West Ham striker had been left out of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth after manager Manuel Pellegrini said 'his head was on another issue' and hinted at problems in training by adding: 'A manager must choose the players that work better during the week'.

The 29-year-old Arnautovic had made it clear he wanted to leave after Guangzhou offered £35.2million and wages of £280,000 a week. His brother and agent Danijel released a statement saying 'he wanted to win titles in China'.
