Nalgonda honour killing: Pranay's wife Amrutha gives birth to a baby boy
Amrutha and Pranay had married at an Arya Samaj temple in Hyderabad.
HYDERABAD: Almost four months after Pranay Kumar was brutally murdered by a hired killer in Hyderabad on September 14, 2018, his wife Amrutha Varshini gave birth to a baby boy at a Miryalguda hospital on Thursday.
Amrutha was admitted to the hospital by her in-laws on Thursday. Both, the baby and mother, are said to be healthy.
"Pranay loved me so much that he has come back to me," said Amrutha.

On September 14 last year, a contract killer attacked Pranay, just 23, outside a hospital where Amrutha, two years younger and pregnant after her marriage at an Arya Samaj mandir in Hyderabad in January, had come to consult a doctor. | Read this story in Telugu
The murder was planned by Amrutha's father, Maruthi Rao, who was furious with his daughter marrying Pranay, a dalit.
Rao, who had earlier offered Pranay Rs 3 crore to let Amrutha go, later tried to get her to abort the child. When that, too, failed, he decided to eliminate his son-in-law.
Rao had reportedly agreed to pay Rs 1 crore to the assailaints.
Pranay and Amrutha had been friends since their school days in Miryalaguda. Both joined an engineering course in Hyderabad later, albeit in different colleges, and dropped out after their romance made it impossible for them to continue with their education.
