Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi leaked online
Kangana Ranaut's latest release Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which tells the story of one of the bravest warrior queens of India, Rani Lakshmi Bai has been leaked online by infamous Tamilrockers. The movie which released on January 25 also features Ankita Lokhande, Danny Dengzongpa, Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi released along with Thackeray, a biopic on late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray. Thackeray starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui was also leaked online by the same group. Tamilrockers, which is a hub for pirated movies is now a cause of concern for film industries.
However, despite getting leaked online, Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika experienced decent footfall in theatres as it earned over Rs 8 crores on the first day. The historical drama made its way to release battling a number of controversies.
Recently released movies such as The Accidental Prime Minister, Petta, Viswasam, Zero among others were also leaked online by Tamilrockers. The piracy site has also not spared Hollywood movies.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and produced by Kamal Jain. The screenplay is by Baahubali fame KV Vijayendra Prasad.
On a related note, Kangana will next be seen in Mental Hai Kya, co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
