NASHIK: The Malegaon police on Friday arrested a homeopath for his alleged involvement in a case of illegal termination of pregnancy. The case surfaced on January 21, following which the suspect Rahul Gosavi was arrested.
Gosavi was nabbed by the Killa police from Manmad junction in Malegaon. He was produced before a Malegaon court on Saturday, which remanded him to five-day police custody.

Gosavi along with another doctor conducted an illegal medical termination of pregnancy of a 21-year-old woman in a room located on a deserted farmland in Kaulane. The case came to light when local residents spotted two men burying a foetus in the Killa area on January 21.
A couple from Bhosari, near Pimpri Chinchwad, was also booked in the case under relevant sections of the IPC. On Friday, the two couples were sent in 14-day judicial custody.
