A 16-year-old boy missing since Friday was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Saturday morning inside an inter-college, where he studied in Class X.

AGRA: A 16-year-old boy missing since Friday was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Saturday morning inside an inter-college, where he studied in Class X. Identified as Ajit Singh, a resident of Nanda village of Raya police jurisdiction of Mathura district, the victim was found hanging from a tree inside a private inter-college based in Anode village.
Mohan Singh, the victim’s father, said, “Ajit left home on Friday evening around 4 pm and did not return.
Initially, we assumed that he might have gone to his friend’s home for a stay over but on Saturday morning we were informed by the school authorities, that his body was found hanging from a tree.” Police said that a mobile phone, a woman’s ring, wrist watch and a handkerchief with heart sign was recovered from him.Nitu Singh, victim’s mother said, “My son was murdered by the girl and her parents, as he liked her.” Raya SHO said, “e have sent the body for post-mortem. An FIR is yet to be lodged in the case.” Meanwhile, sources said that the boy was disheartened as the girl whom he liked had rejected his proposal.
