Three crowns go missing from Tirupati's Govindaraja Swamy temple

Precious jewellery items including 3 crowns were allegedly stolen from Govindaraja Swamy temple managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The crowns are reportedly adorned by the processional deities at the Govindaraja Swamy temple. After the incident came into light, TTD officials swung into action and filed a complaint with police. CCTV footage of the temple was being examined and temple priests and paricharakas have also been questioned.
