Louisville Metro Police are investigating a deadly crash early Saturday morning in Smoketown. Dispatchers said an ambulance and another vehicle collided around 3 a.m. at the intersection of West Broadway and South Hancock Street.The coroner has identified the victims as Joshua Kidwell, 23, and Kenric Farrell, 45. The cause of death was ruled as multiple blunt force injuries. Officials said Farrell was killed. The Kidwell, the driver, was taken to University Hospital where they later died.Officials said the ambulance didn't have its emergency lights on at the time of the crash.Broadway is shut down while police investigate.The investigation is ongoing.
